IT’S MY BIRTHDAY AND SO I HAD TO COME OUT

Today is a beautiful day because it is my birthday! Not only that, it is also the 3rd birthday of the blog. On this day 3years ago, I started this blog. It was the birthday gift I gave to myself in 2014 and it has since grown from just a hobby to finding purpose. Wowsome!

On Coming Out…..

In this post HERE, I shared with you that I was gently transitioning to natural hair. I finally got rid of all the relaxed bit in my hair to reveal my natural hair. So I thought there was no better time to come out than on my birthday and THIS IS IT:

Outfit of the Day ::: Romantic Cotton & Tulle Layering 

Okay, this is not a birthday outfit but an outfit of the day post as usual. And since it is a blog day today, I had to share it….For my look today, I was wearing a checkered “romantic cotton” with cinched sleeves and layered skirt in blush. To finish the look and to mimic the pattern on the blouse, I wore heels in graffiti print and that is my OOTD(outfit of the day).

“Romantic Cottons”, whether dresses or blouses are big for this spring and summer, so it is one trend you can try. Secondly, this skirt is perfect for now because when I think of Spring, I think of pink in blush or rose. If you are looking for a subtle colour to wear for this season, this colour is one to try.

The Good Gift

In my humble opinion, the good gifts are the money can’t buy ones like self-love, self development and precious time spent with loved ones and so on…..

For about 3years now, I have being on a journey and while I can say I am still on my way, I am giving myself very good gifts. I am kinder to myself, loving myself more and truly living in my purpose. What do you mean Moji?

I mean I have being doing things that truly matter to me irrespective of what anyone thinks or says. I am doing everything God lays in my heart to do with His help.

On this journey, I started this blog and have grown it with readers from more than 144 countries from different parts of the world + more than I.2million views. As at when I wrote Use What You Have, my book, we were on about 1million.

On this journey also, I have written an Amazon bestselling- self help / inspirational book.

Through this blog, I have met amazing people like you, clients from all works of life, online friends that are now real life friends, so many opportunities that may never have come if I didn’t take that bold step of faith.
 
Through this blog, I am now confident to do greater things and STILL GROWING……….
 

My Advise to you:

In life, until we start living in our purpose, we may or will continue to do things that don’t matter. When we find our purpose and live in it, we fulfil destiny.

So I ask? What is your purpose? Have you found it and are you living in it? Are you fulfilled or are you still stuck in a rut or running around doing what you are not supposed to be doing? What is it?

In case you are wondering what I mean, here’s what I mean: Not living in your purpose can mean that: your friend started a blog, then you start a blog or your friend writes motivation or inspiration posts, then you jump on that too or your friend started her cake business, then you jump on the band wagon of making cakes too and so on and so forth. Simply put, you do what everybody does except what you ought to be doing (your own purpose in life)
