To all my Irish friends living in different parts of the world, Happy early St. Patrick’s day to you. I believe it is going to be an amazing and colourful event as always here in Ireland and especially in Dublin (capital city of Ireland) where all the magic happens.
Not sure what St. Patrick’s day is? Please check HERE. I shared all you need to know about Paddy’s day in that post.
Outfit of The Day ::: Pastel Monostrap
I got this dress last Christmas. It was part of the holiday collection at H&M. Well, there was no way I could have worn it at Christmas because it was so cold. It came in handy for the baby shower I attended 2 weeks ago.
And because we are in the Paddy’s day season, I decided this colour scheme is way to go for the baby shower. The Official Irish colours are Orange, Green and White and most people wear that colour scheme for St. Patrick’s day.
The dress is a simple but elegant one. I threw it on and accessorised with tonnes of bracelets and finished my look with orange sandals. I wore my mini orange purse by didn’t photograph it. I also had a shawl scarf to keep warm.
I will be wearing the dress over and over again. I see me wearing it with an oversized hat in the summer or on holidays somewhere warm with flip flop.
Fashion TIP Today
First, let’s just face it, photographing that dress was hard because it was so windy where I met up with my photographer but we did what we had to do. Apologies for not getting my other hand out in the photo
Unto fashion TIP: A lot of us who live in this part of the world knows that even though it looks like Spring, it isn’t quiet warm like Spring. So for you to maximise your Winter wardrobe this season and enjoy every bit of it, you can…..
1, Wear Colourful Coat:
Instead of wearing your regular black, blue or any colour you have in your closet, try a coloured or colourful one. This will add some “warmth”(colour) to your look while keeping you warm. Try fuchsia or Pastels. I will do a look book with this tip on the blog next week.
2, Wear open toe sandals:
Instead of boots which can or maybe be too warm for Spring, try open toe sandals / shoes, they are perfect for now.
3, Wear colourful accessories:
Necklace, Scarves, Purses or anything you fancy. This will also add warmth and colour to your possibly all black Winter ensemble.
Have fun spicing up your Winter wardrobe while we wait for the weather to warm up
I want to thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always happy to see you stop by. Enjoy your day and happy Paddy’s day again to all who are celebrating.
Much Love, Mojisola
