Lately I have been feeling very encouraged by consciously or intentional about focusing my mind on the positives around me. I am focusing on what really matters.
The same way I am focusing on what matters and what is important and all the blessings God has favoured me with, I am also consciously unpluging from negativity of all forms or all kinds.
Negativity comes in all ways. It could be for a Blogger, you have created a fantastic post and the only feed back you got were bad ones. It could be debt, it could be friends who you trust so much and they ended up stabbing you in the back. It could be that you studied so hard for that exams but you still failed. Negativity could be anything.
I challenge you to focus on the positives and intentionally unplug from all things that look or sound like negativity. Focus on what matters; blessings, family, friends who are true, love, joy and happiness. Focus on positivity only and see what can/would happen.
When you feel positive, every other thing begin to fall in place or take shape and you will feel happy on the inside and when you are happy on the inside, it shows on the outside…….#Motivation!
Outfit of the Day!
For my look today, I am playing with what I call modern classics by going the Olivia Pope route from Scandal. Olivia is all about tailored pieces with modern silhouette.
Since I am a modern woman who happens to love classic pieces, I decided to add a touch of classic to my outfit today by pairing my “mini” skater skirt with fitted peplum cut blazer. I finished my look with a statement necklace and a pair of beige / nude heels which also happens to be my current favourite pair of heels.
Talking about the necklace, I knew for this look, I didn’t want my neck to be bare so I tried different ways of wearing the necklace. Firstly on the outside of the blazer, it didn’t look sleek so I tried it again inside of the blazer and voila, it worked.
Fashion TIP today !
You may have read in my last paragraph above that I tried my necklace a couple of times before I decided to wear it the way I did. My advise will always be try things out, you never can tell what you will come up with. If it doesn’t work, take it off. Clothes and jewellery are not tattoo, they can be taken off or changed.
Nude heels are an essential in every woman’s closet or wardrobe. They can (1) elongate your legs. (2) They can add a nice touch of elegance to a look and (3) They can tone down over the top colours on your clothes like I showcased here.
To read about how to you can choose your best nude, read here.
So tell me, how do you stay positive? And secondly, what is that thing you always feel you can’t do but you ended up doing. Share them with me please.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Wishing you a fantastic day filled with love, joy and positivity.
Much Love, Mojisola.

Is this an example of some of the stuff you wear to work?

Unplugging the negativity? That can be challenging for some. I was that person some time ago. I think who you surround yourself with can help push you toward your goal of positive energy. As for fashion, this is a really cute and l love that you had a little fun with the shoot, giving a playful pose. Adorable!

Totally agree with you on the people you surround yourself with. And yes, you were on my mind when I did that pose. You told me about your ballet long time ago, remember ?
You’re amazing. Such a good listener.
I agree when it comes to the nude heels, i could wear nude shoes every single day with all of my outfits, they are starting to be a classic for me. Nice content
