ORAL HYGIENE ::: HOW I GOT RID OF BLEEDING GUM & DENTURE SORE

I could have declined when my colleague handed me a pack of crisp at launch. So as not to sound rude or offensive, I decided to join in to eat the snack I do not even like. It was the third time she was offering me crisp so I thought just one time wouldn’t hurt.

Why don’t I like crisp? I just do not like the smell of “garlic and co” it leaves in the mouth afterwards and I think it is high in salt. FOrgive me crisp lovers, I am not coming for you.

Anyway, while snacking on the crisp, I accidentally cut my upper gum. At first, I didn’t know it was serious. It was quiet deep and it was bleeding seriously.

We all know that sore or bleeding gum can cause the mouth to smell and brushing my teeth was an uneasy task so I had to go to the dentist.

My dentist examined my gum and she advised me to buy Corsodyl.  It did the magic for me. After a few days, my gum stopped been sore and after a while, it heeled up completely.

Here is a full review of the Corsodyl Mouthwash and what you can use it for…….

PROS :

1, it says what it says on the description.

2, treats and prevents gingivitis(gum disease)

3, promotes gum healing after dental surgery or treatment

4, manage recurring mouth ulcer

5, manage denture sore mouth and oral thrush.

CONS :

To me, I found the taste not so pleasant. Other than that, it does the job.

It causes temporary discolouration on the teethe.  With a little bit of home whitening, my teeth was fine. Will share that home whitening I do with you sometime soon.

If you do not like to taste anything that is not sweet, then you may not like it.

Active Ingredients :

0.2% w/v Chlorhexidine Digluconate which is equivalent to 1.0%v/v Chlorhexidine Digluconate solution)

Other Ingredients : ethanol, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate and sorbitol

Corsodol also has other oral care products as you can see above.  I tried the Corsodyl mouthwash in the mint flavour. Far left from the picture above.
