MAXI DAY

Nothing compares to a maxi dress on a sunny day especially when it is one that is sheer and breathable like the one I have on in this post.

Maxi dresses are not only elegant, they are perfect for any outdoor parties in the summer. Be it a garden party or a summer wedding. Maxi dresses are just chic.

My maxi dress today is a simple one I got last Spring when I was heading to Nigeria. It was perfect for the weather. I wore this “bad girl” to the market (I love markets) and to run errands with my sister. I haven’t called her in a while, I am sorry dear sis. Will call soon.

In Lagos, Nigeria, I wore my dress with some flip flops and oversized sunshades to prevent my face from the very hot sun. I had on my tote handy to hold all my Lagos goodies including my Mac’s fix plus to hydrate my skin. I highly recommend the Mac’s fix plus if you are travelling to a sunny place. The mist gives a a nice glow.  Thank me later….lol

For my look today. I am sporting my maxi with ankle strap wedges and my large top handle. I only added the DkNY scarf to the bag for accent like I also did here.

For accessories, I wore a simple drop earrings, a watch and a bracelet.

Fashion TIP today ! 

One of the ways to add a new touch or revamp your everyday bag is to add on an oversized scarf like I did in the above picture. See here for a few more ways I like to wear my scarves.
