I looked out a few days ago and it was raining and in my head I started thinking once the word “FALL” comes up in weather, it starts to rain. I may be wrong but I have also noticed that once the children go back to school, it rains everyday. Apparently, I am not the only one who feels that way because I sent a message to a friend of mine who also said she was thinking the same thing when she got my message. Two rights can’t be wrong right?
Well in Ireland, sometimes we experience all 4 seasons in a day; Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Do you think once it’s fall / Autumn, it rains everyday too? What is the weather like where you are? I am just curious to know so please share with me.
Outfit of the Day ::: Minimalism & How to Transition to Fall Without Buying Anything New
Today’s look makes me feel like a beautiful legal practitioner. When you think black and white and in this order(white blouse, black skirt & black shoes), you think lawyers because that is what they wear right? Although plain black and white can be too ordinary or bland but when you have simple details like that oversized bow on your white shirt, it makes your minimal look more dressy.
For my look today, I wanted a look that is minimal but super chic with a high fashion flare and this is it. For this look, I paired a clean, crisp white shirt with oversized bow with and a midi length skirt and finished the look with black suede pumps. To make the look appropriate for the season(Fall / Autumn), I paired it with a pair of panty hose / tights.
One of the easiest and affordable ways to transition to fall without buying a thing is to wear some panty hose / tights
To transition easily to fall without buying a new thing, you can pair your summer clothes with pantyhose or trench coats and so many other easy ways that I shared in this post on HOW TO TRANSITION TO FALL
When it comes to black and white or minimalism, you can explore different options or wear your black and white in different order. In your own case, you can choose to wear white bottoms instead of top or white shoes with your black and white instead of black.
The possibility of wearing black and white is endless so don’t be shy to explore which ever way you fancy. See HERE for black and white with a pop of colour for example.
Minimalism(black and white) is chic and modern. It is timeless and can go from season to season. There is no one time in the year when you can’t wear black and white. It is one of those colour palettes you can wear season in and season out. Have fun with your own minimal look.

This summer we’ve had a lot of rain, in fact it rained at least 2-3 times a week. And this week has been much of the same and school started up yesterday… so I can’t blame the rain on school starting. lol
Hope you’re having a great week so far.
