It is my last day of work before Christmas and honestly if I could have my way I would have been finished by now. All the same, we have to do what we have to do. I know in my mind that it was going to be a short but busy day with last minute rush of shoppers & travellers trying to get home to be with their loved ones. I also had in my mind that there was going to be so much traffic.
On short but busy days like this, I love to spot an all black ensemble. Not only does it flatter the body or make you look slimmer, it is perfect for days when you want to feel like you didn’t try but look well put together.
Every other thing you need to know about black and wearing an all black ensemble and so many different look books can be found here.
For this look, I wore all black and to make the look less formal and holiday appropriate, I decided on a silver belt to break the chains of black and to add some accent to the to the look.
Fashion TIP today ::: A few Ways to wear an all black ensemble.
In case you missed my article on all black and pop of colour which you can also read here. I shared some TIPS on how to add some colour to your all black ensemble.
You can wear your all black with colour on any part of your body. It could be bold lips, on your shoes (whether heels or flats), on your belt, bag or purse or any other accessories you fancy.
You can also add accent to your all black look by wearing metals like I did with my own look. Your own metal could be gold, copper, rose gold or silver like mine. It doesn’t have to be a belt. It could be a chunky bracelet or a necklace or any other thing you fancy very much.
On the other hand, you can rock your all black look without any accessories. The most important thing is being happy with what you wear.
So tell me how would you wear your all black ensemble or you wouldn’t dare? What are your plans for the holidays? Please share them with me in the comments below.
