ERRANDS & PEDICURE | MIDI SKIRT & SANDAL

A good pedicure is something I find very therapeutic. I love the feeling of some one else doing something for me for once.

As a wife and a mum, I am responsible for making sure that the home run smoothly, the kids are well taken care of, the hubby is happy and much more.

I make sure to do everything smoothly with my strength coming from the supernatural. No I do not have a strength of my own. All of my strength cometh from the Lord. Amen somebody !

The other thing I ensure to do is to take care of me. I believe very much that it is important to take care of me even though I am a wife and a mum.

I know very well that if I do not take care of me, I possibly can’t take care of the people I am responsible for. I ensure to take care of me spiritually, physically, emotionally, career and every thing about me.

And yes I love my family very dearly and I put them first in whatever thing I do but I also believe in investing some time, effort and money in me first as a woman and then as a wife and as a mum.

Every woman should take care of them selves and never feel guilty about it. You deserve it, you are worth it. 

Since I had errands to run and I had pedicure to attend, I thought to wear something easy, laid back but well put together. The weather was also very favourable which was a plus.

For my look today, I throw on my black midi skirt, a simple blouse and finished my look with my black and white sandals / slippers and a zebra print purse/hobo bag.

The look was simple enough so I jazzed it up with layered necklace which style lovers are currently loving and stud earrings. I also had on some minimal make up.

Well I knew I was going for red colour anyway, I feel like it goes with everything.

Fashion TIP today ! 

If you are going to get a pedicure or manicure especially and you are wearing black, ensure to bring a scarf to cover your clothe to ensure that all the dust from nail filing doesn’t ruin your black.

Black has the natural tendency to attract lint and dust like the one from when your nails are been filed. If you can, bring a lint roller with you every time you wear black. It is perfect for removing all unwanted lints from your clothes.
