In a recent research done by Forbes, a lot of people came out to say, the word “problem” scares them. I believe that was so because the word itself is described with synonyms like complications, trouble, difficult situations etc. That sounds scary right? However, in the same research, many say the word Challenge seem like one that could embrace because you can describe the word challenge with synonyms like summon, dare, etc.
Today, my first encouragement to you would be to see every difficult situation you may be going through as a challenge and not a problem. Personally, I see a challenge as an opportunity to dare to do something new and an opportunity to grow.
And guess what, many big organisations has now adopted the word challenge instead of problems. Today on Motivation for Monday, I bring you, Challenge Means Growth….
After I shared the video on the challenges I went through before getting my Masters, I got more than 30 comments, especially from women. I believe that was so because I tailored the video to women. From the comments I received, I got feedbacks like the ones below….(all comments were copied and pasted, no addition or take away)….
LeahTrini says: “A great heartfelt THANK YOU for this post. You basically spoke my life before you and just when I thought I was at a standstill and not knowing where to go, your video came along. Thank You for letting God use you! ?
Alexandra Doupis says: “Amazing & pretty inspiring”
Oluseyi says: “Totally inspiring! I had tears in my eyes at some point because I can relate with your story. Keep being phenomenal”
On Instagram, Stella Asteria, a Fellow Blogger says: Amazing video Mojisola. Thank you so much. She is having her first baby soon. Early Congratulations Stella.
To see the video and all those comments, please check my Youtube Channel HERE. After those comments came in, I decided to expatriate on how challenges break us first, then mould us. This is a subject that is now very dear to my heart and I would continue to share my own story to hopefully continue to inspire other women that, it is okay to have a change in our lives seasons BUT our dreams, visions, aspirations, ambitions and goals can remain alive and that in a good time, when the season is right, we can go get them. If you have ever wondered WHY I choose the name Moj In Touch for this blog, that was WHY.
Moj In Touch simply came about because the season of my life changed because I left my career for a while to care for my young children BUT my dreams, visions, goals, ambitions and aspirations never did. Although I was caring for my children whom I love to bits, I am still IN TOUCH with me – myself, my dreams, my visions, my desires, my ambitions and my aspirations.
Apologies, I rambled a little bit there. I had to do that to drive the message home to encourage you Back to Challenges!
Challenges mean growth. Every time, we go through any challenges or set backs, we are been prepared for growth. If we let ourselves, in our challenges, we dare to dream, in our problems, we can find solutions, when life knocks us down, we can see the height we are going to. Also when we experience challenges, we build characters like patience, which I have always known is a virtue everyone must have, we learn to wait, persevere and our faith becomes strengthened.
Today, I invite you to view, Challenges Mean Growth: Your Water Must Break Before You Give Birth. Please watch and let me know what you think…..
I want to thank you so much for stopping by and for reading and viewing. Never forget that every time there is a challenge, you MUST dare to dream big and take action to achieve what you so desire.
Sending you LOVE always, Mojisola
God is not Punishing You!
Edited: I had to come back to edit this blog after I saw this video in Steve Harvey’s Couple Summit. This video actually talks more on HOW SET BACK helped Giuliana Rancic found out she had cancer. Please watch to learn more…
Always remember that God is not punishing us when we experience set backs.
