Hi beautiful people. Welcome to a brand new week. I hope you had a fantastic weekend.
When it comes to work style, I love to do minimals be it the outfit or the make up. Easy breezy cuts it for me.
For today’s look, I was wearing a polo style jumper with a pretty floral skirt and to finish my look, I wore a patent leather heels and oversized bag to hold all my essentials.
Ideally, I sit or rest my skirts on my natural waist line to make my tiny waist look even tinier but for this look, I sat or rested my skirt lower on my waist line. I did that to make the two piece look as though it is a dress. Did you notice that?
For accessories, I threw on a stud pair of my favourite earrings and a wrist watch, both in silver hues. A necklace would also work with this look but I thought to make the skirt a nice center of focus for this look.
Fashion TIP today !
Any time you want to define or add definition or cinch in your waist line and you do not have a belt handy, sit your skirt on your natural waist line. An e.g can be found in this look here
Secondly, whenever you wear a bold multicoloured print like the one on my skirt for work, it is always best to go with one solid colour like I did with this look as your top/blouse so your look still looks work appropriate or professional while still looking stylish or well put together. Same rule can be applied if the floral was on your top.
If you are going for a print on print look or pattern on pattern look like I did here, you can tie your look together with a structured blazer and you are good for work.
Finally and most importantly, always wear heels at your comfort level. Do not be deceived, even though I won’t say flat shoes are my favourite, I do wear flats when I walk long distance or travel on the bus or train. I always settle for the pointy toe flats, I find them to be more stylish.
So tell me, how do you wear your prints be it top or bottoms? Do you glam up to work or keep it minimal like me? Would love to know in the comments please.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Wishing you a fab week filled with God’s love and blessings.
Much Love, Mojisola

I’m loving the pink! And the print is so pretty – I think prints as bottoms or tops both work as long as the solid blends. Enjoy your week Mojisola!
I totally agree with you. Thanks for stopping by.

I also like minimalist looks. This is a beautiful outfit! The pink, black, and white color combos go so well together. The heels are perfect and classy in style. And I love the black with gold belt in your video.
Super! Have a terrific week!

I love how this outfit looks on you, however I’m usually the one to glam it up! I do agree, though, that it’s safer when one piece has a print, to go with a solid color top/bottom to match it, print on print can go very bad if the eye is not trained
Fashionably,

I think this is probably my favorite work outfit you’ve posted! That bright pink is fabulous, and the skirt is even better. Just love it!
What a great look that is versatile for work and play! I agree with your fashion tips especially pairing prints with solids to give the former the spot light. Fuchsia looks great on you dear! Have a great rest of your week! xo~ Lena
