BOOK UPDATE

I can finally say I am an Author! I am excited about this but most importantly, I give all praises back to God. He gave me the inspiration to write this book. For the past two years, I have written motivation for Mondays here on the blog and for me to fulfill the vision God gave me, this inspiration book was born. I have amazing testimonials on the book already and it is one that will change the lives of its readers. I can’t wait to share it with you.

We are launching on the 4/12/2016 in Dublin, come through if you can. I am looking forward to seeing the very special people in my live and a “lot” of our blog and YouTube family has given me their words that they will be there too. A few friends coming from the UK as well. I am excited much and can’t wait to share it with you and give you information to buy so you can be motivated for the year ahead.

I am hopeful to be able to inspire so many lives with this book and I am confident it will change your live too. I have also experienced break through so far on the book even though it hasn’t launched…….One life coach says she would love to use it as a text book on her course. An offer came yesterday(Saturday) for me to feature the book on an Irish Radio. God is doing great things already and I am looking forward to more of his goodness. For this REASON, I dare you to go after your dreams BUT what price are you willing to pay? Will share that on motivation some time

MOTIVATION FOR MONDAY ::: CLEAR VISION

I have a “clear vision” glasses that I use mostly when I work on my computer. It was prescribed to me about 7 years ago when I was working at a Data Processing centre with Provident Personal Credit. I enjoy some benefits every time I wear the glasses….. (1)  I see clearly……… this makes my life easier and little less stress on my eyes. (2) It also helps me finish my job on time.  Those advantages or benefits I enjoy because I have a clear vision. Today on motivation for Monday, I will tell you WHY it is important to have a clear vision of your goals and the advantages you will benefit from that……….

Coincidentally or maybe not, my second son Sammy wears glasses. When He was a child, his creche / play school proprietress-Martina drew my attention to TWO simple facts. She said, “Sammy is a very smart child but he can barely see the board, he squints every time he tries to look at the board and if he knows something but can’t participate in class because he can’t see well, that will reduce his confidence.

Up until I started my journey to self development and living purposefully, I didn’t understand what Martina meant. What she meant is that…….if you can see clearly, you build confidence, WOW! 

The second thing she said to me on the day was that, “if Sammy goes on to Primary school and can’t see well, he is likely to be BULLIED. If you can’t see well, you are likely to be bullied. Another WOW to that! 

I immediately got Sammy glasses and he is been wearing it since then. He is a smart child actually; he is confident and can’t be bullied. He is also a very tall boy and will be 10 soon…..

This is where I am going……….

I read a quote recently and it says, “if the vision is clear, the journey is shorter and the result will appear. Every time I read something new, I take some time to think about it. Do you do that too? 

From what Martina said to me about my son, Sammy and my own personal experience with my vision, today, I will like to encourage you that for you to fulfill your purpose in life, you have to be clear about your vision, here is WHY………

1, The journey will be shorter to achieve your goals:

This simply means, if you know where you are going, you will not be roaming of “faffing” around. You go straight there. Like I said above, anytime I wear my glasses, I finish my work on time and easily too because I can see clearly. I also do not stress my eyes.

2, You Build Confidence :

If you know exactly where you are going or have a clear vision of where you are going or have clarity on where you are going in life and you know how to get there your confidence is built.

For example, if you are driving from your house to the airport and you know the way, you drive confidently and you arrive there on time, unlike if you don’t know how to get there. When you have a clear vision, you are confident and your journey is shorter.

Please bare in mind that although nobody knows tomorrow but we all must have plans for our lives.

3, You will NOT be bullied

Like Martina told me about Sammy those many years ago, if you do not see well or have a clear vision for your life, you are likely to be “bullied”. I am using the word bully loosely here. What this means is that when you can see clearly what your goals, aspirations, dreams, desires are, nobody can change them for you. Even the devil can’t because he comes to steal, kill and destroy. In simple words, you do not need the approval or validation of anybody to go after them. However if you don’t have a clear vision for your life, any and every situation or people will or can bully you out of them. What I am saying is that if you do not have a clear vision, you stress your vision and you begin to doubt. So get clarity, it makes a lot of difference and erases doubt.

I love biblical principles and I do my best to apply them to my everyday living. I was recently reading the book of Habakkuk (NLT) when I saw what God said about knowing visions and writing them down…it says, record the vision and write them on tablets…….that the one who reads it may run……it hastens towards the goal and it will not fail……..though it tarries, wait for it, for it will come……. (You can learn more on Habakkuk 2 from 1 to 3).

I checked the concordance in my study bible for revelation of each of the word in that scripture and this is what I got…………. If you are clear about the vision, you can run with it and it will not fail. Although Martina is not a “Christian”, the simple thing she told me about my child many years ago brings me back to a solid life principle of clear vision.

I encourage you today to have a clear vision or clarity for your life, goals, dreams and aspirations and you will reach your destined purpose on time.

1, Know WHAT you want

2, Know HOW you can achieve them

3, Set Realistic Goals and Work at them

4, And though it may not be as fast as you want them to be like that scripture says, your result will never tarry or fail.

Listen, Nobody can live purposely without clear vision or clarity.  So I ask you today….WHAT DO YOU WANT? ARE YOU CLEAR ABOUT THEM? It is important to be clear about what you want and when you do, you build confidence, you are not bullied out of your goals and you are ARRIVE there on time. WOW! 

SO WHAT DO YOU WANT? CAN YOU SEE THEM CLEARLY? ……Answer these truthfully…….

These are some of the kind of things you should look forward to in my book. I am looking forward to sharing it with you whether you are a Blogger or Mother or Father or just a young man or woman trying to find your way in life. 

 
Although I have written these things, I know a lot of people may not know or understand all of these, if you are stuck or don’t understand, reach out to me, I will say a word of prayer or two with you and I will share some more tips with you too on clarity.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY ::: TUBE DRESS & MILITARY STYLE COAT

Recently, I shared a “STREET STYLE“ look book featuring this military style coat, you can check it HERE. Today, I bring you the same coat to you in a more dressed up way…..

For this look, I wore a tube dress with a polo neck under for layering because it is getting so cold around here and to keep me nice and warm, I wore the military style jacket and a pair of patent leather patterned heels and large top handle completes the look.

This kind of look is feminine chic, it can easily take you from day to night.

Fashion TIP Today ::: Fitted or Tight

When it comes to dresses, there is a difference between fitted and tight. Tight can be tacky, meanwhile fitted can be sexy, yet classy. Want to know the difference between fitted and tight, please check HERE
