Motivation for Monday ::: SHOULDA, WOULDA, COULDA

Shoulda means should I

Woulda means could I

Coulda means Could I

Those 3 things above are the things that KILL a lot of people’s dreams and visions. Those 3 come with big fear. Those 3 things will make a lot of people remain stagnant for a long time in their lives and if not careful, for the rest of their lives. Okay this is it…….
 
Shoulda, woulda coulda comes to mind each time you want to take a bold step in life- whether to improve yourself through self development, take a new course, move on from that abusive relationship, stop wasting money and save more and in all areas of life. Shoulda, woulda, coulda? So what would you do when that threesome comes to mind? What?

Last year is yesterday and it is gone forever. We will never see last year again. We can hold on to the memories of last year. I encourage you to take a bold step to drop everything that didn’t work last year and NOW focus on this brand new year-2017 – brand new opportunity, brand new dawn, brand new season to do brand new things.

Listen, the difference between those who will do well this year and the ones who won’t are the ones who take ACTION. Those who will look at shoulda, woulda, coulda like a boss and say, I CAN DO IT! I know I can. You may be afraid or scared to make that big move BUT trust me, when you take that bold step of faith, things will begin to fall in place.

This year, I encourage you not to let should I do it, would I do it and could I do it  stand in your way and let the God inside you rise and lead you to greatness. Anytime, you feel like you should take that bold move or step but that voice of stagnancy is telling you not to, say to yourself, I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS ME and go ahead and do it.

It may be rough, challenging or may not even work out BUT, try anyways because you never can tell what you could do until you try. If while trying you face challenges or trials, don’t forget to encourage and remind yourself always that I can do all things through christ who strengthens me. Now go ahead and do it.

Happy New Year again everyone. Wishing you a year of Action and Achievements.

LOOK BOOK ::: COLOUR BOLCK MAXI

This was the look we shoot for New Year’s eve outfit. I wanted something colourful, bold and one that would make me stand out and this is it.

Once upon a time, I used to think wearing bold and colourful colour like this in the Winter / Fall months was a NO, NO but now, I wear colour when I want to wear colour. I do not live in the shoulda, coulda, land anymore, I do what I want to do. I encourage you to do the same. There is liberty in wearing what you want and at anytime you want to.

For the Look, the dress is easy breezy. It is colour blocked dress you can dress up or dress down. As you will see in the photos below, I wore it loose without the belt, it is meant to fit loose and I wore it also with a jewel belt. And voila, that is my look of the day.

 
You can wear this kind of dress with faux fur or stole to keep you warm. If you like, a cropped leather jacket or blazer would work too. 
 
I will be wearing this dress again to the wedding of one of my Bangladesh’s friend in a few days because they love and wear colours a lot…………

And that is my quick motivation for Monday and Look Book featurng a colour block dress. Coulda, woulda, shoulda won’t take you anywhere so go ahead and live your life to your fullness potential and live it so colourfully too.
