CUSTOMISED | SLINKY WRAP FRONT MAXI

Quality, texture, colour and FIT are a few of the things I consider before purchasing/buying anything (clothes in this case).

I care less if it is on trend, if it is designer or not. Once the cut, the design, shape, structure, colour and FIT is grand, count me in. Then I can begin to look at the price, designer label and the rest of it.

I also put into consideration how many ways I can pair the particular item. If I am happy with all of the above, I settle for it whether it is designer or not provided I can afford it. If I can afford it, I go for it, yes life is short.

I also do not shop on line a lot from brands I am not so familiar with especially from up and coming brands. In most cases, they are either a hit or a miss.

For my dress today, I decided to take a chance to try out a brand I have never tried before. Just to see if the adverts match the quality.

Have you noticed that some of these exclusive on line stores spend a lot on ads?

I ordered the dress, tried it on, the fit was great, quality I would rate okay but all in all, I was happy with it.

I also decided to do a little alteration to customise the dress to my personal style/preference.  I included some buttons on the chest area as seen in the photo below……….

I also closed up the slit a little because it was thigh high as seen in the photo below…..

This is what the dress looks like on the model. She wears it well, don’t you think ?

And this is how I like Mine. I also ditched the belt for a metallic one. I thought it looked sleeker.

Fashion TIP today !

If you buy anything that is “mass produced” or you think quality, fit or shape is not what you like, you can customise your look.

Customising a style piece makes the piece more you (fits your personal style) and there is the possibility that you might wear it like it is more expensive.

So learn to customise your look. Makes you stand out. It will also save you from looking like someone’s twin if you meet another wearing the same dress/cloth as you.

If you order anything on line that you are not sure about, always keep the clothes in a sell-able condition and also ensure to keep your receipt so you can get your refund.

If you loose your receipt, you will only be able to exchange it and if you send the cloth back in a condition that is not sell-able, you will not get refunded so be careful.

There you have it my lovelies. Go ahead and style your own look which ever way you fancy. If you love the model’s look, go for it and if mine is what you fancy, go ahead. What ever you do, just have fun with your look.
