Our son turns 15 today and we are truly grateful for the love of the Father in our lives. Not only am I celebrating his birthday, as a Mum, I am truly grateful to God for the kind, humble, smart, focused, loving and compassionate son God has given to us. He rubs off on his brother, leading by example. I have watched him take charge and stepped in numerously to help his brother in so many ways – homework, conduct, guidance and much more. I remember being sick one time and I was shocked by how this child of mine took care of me – even though I wasn’t well and I needed care, I couldn’t help but think of how he took care of me – tucked me in to bed and watched me sleep off till he went to his room. He is all these and more, but let me stop here. Truly grateful for his life.
One of the questions I get asked the most is “why don’t you share your family photos online” and on and on. See, although I am out there doing all the things I do online, in real life, I am a real private person who loves her space and loves to spend time alone. Coincidentally, my husband is a home buddy too and very private. We love our privacy and keep our family affairs and life private. We are not the kind of people who write epistle about ourselves online and all that stuff. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, we just love to share our own love in our own kind of way. We do what every other families do – we celebrate birthdays, we love ourselves, we celebrate ourselves but we just do not do them online – this is our choice.
The people who watch my videos would have seen my husband and my children. I share them, I just respect the values we have of keeping our lives private…..and we have friends in real life who know us and love us.
It’s so funny that because I do not share my family affairs online, here are a few things I have heard about me – some in my inbox:
She is not married – I am married – going on 16 years.
She is separated/divorced – Nope, I am not.
She is showing off herself for men – I am only doing my fashion business – I am the face of the brand, so I can’t hide.
She wants to take my husband – this is the worst of it all No, I don’t. I am happy with mine.
And more…
I just laugh and laugh. Sometimes, I laugh at these comments with my husband. You all just do not know about it because I do not share.
Sincerely, if there is anything I am more than grateful for, it is my family – the one God chose for me and it is perfect. I guide my family very jealously and I keep it sacred. My family is the best part of everyday for me – I say this all the time because I am grateful.
You may not know it but I have a the best cheerleader of all in my husband. He is cheering me on and supporting all my works, business and career. He gives me the chance to be me everyday. He is that kind of guy.
Enough of my family affair, as our older son turns 15 today, we did some family photos and here are a few pictures. I thought to share because it is a good way to introduce my family to you. Thanks for asking over the years….
For the native looks: I wanted the boys to wear the native attire they have always wanted to wear for the longest time so I put them in different shades of blue and finished their looks with hats that match there fabrics.
For me, I wore an all orange ensemble and my husband wore black with green hat to compliment my own look. Orange and green are both perfect for this new season hence the colour cords.
The Boys Native was made by BelzImagination.
My own look was made by DNK Designs.
And for the Casual looks – I put my boys in different shades of blue and I spotted red to add a pop of colour to the boys all blue look.
Hubby Wearing: Tommy Hilfiger Shirt and Tommy Hilfiger Denim
The Boys wearing: Gap Shirt and Gap Denim
I was wearing: Zara Blouse + Zara Ski Pants + Rocking my natural hair.
In Navy blue is older son – the birthday boy at 15.
And there you have it – my family affair. We had so much fun doing the pictures. Thanks to Director Chris for doing the photos in our home.
Thanks very much for stopping by and for viewing. I sincerely appreciate your love and support over the years. You too are my family and I celebrate all of you. Thanks again.
Lots of love,
Mojisola.

You have a beautiful family Moji. The emails you got made me laugh. People can ask the dumbest questions sometimes.
I feel you Stella especially in this public space. People just assume they know you?
And it’s even more hurtful when it is coming from people you know. One said, “you don’t want to have more Children so you won’t ruin your shape” – how shallow minded?
Another person said, “you don’t wear your wedding rings so men can chase you”. I had my rings on but they didn’t even notice before they said it. The truth is, they said what they were thinking. It is a shame.
I can go on and on but the truth is, I know myself and do not have time for all those pettiness.
Thanks for stopping by Stella.

Happy birthday to your son dear. They are both cute and hubby too *wink*. Lovely FAM pix.
Keep being yourself sweet you owe no one any explanations for who you’re.
Happy belated birthday to your son! Oh Moji, you have such a beautiful family! I can’t believe some of the emails you’ve gotten, they are small-minded and shallow people. You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone. I totally understand why you keep your family life private, I do the same thing. Not everything has to be public and it’s nice to have some parts of your life that are just for you. Thanks for sharing this with us. And keep doing you
