CASUAL FRIDAY, STREET STYLE & HOW TO DRESS DOWN BUT CHIC

Anytime I dress down (wear casuals), I always look for ways to dress up or accessorise the look to make it look dressy / well put together / chic. Today’s look is an example of dressing down in what is considered street style but chic.

Outfit of the Day !

Last time I featured leggings here on the blog, I shared different ways to dress it up. You can check it out HERE. Today is simply how to dressed down leggings or tights like some of you would call it. 

For my look I paired a pair of leggings with a classic white shirt and to keep me nice and warm, I wore a long military style coat. For accessories, I wore a cross body bag to keep my hands free and a pair of detailed sneakers finishes the look. Sneakers are perfect for dressed down day and can take you from day to night depending on how you wear them.

This kind of look is perfect for running errands, shopping for Christmas or thanksgiving (holidays in general), for a mum like me….running after the boys in the park and it is also a great look for travelling. 

Back to leggings, they are perfect for the Winter months because you can wear them for layering up. You can wear them on their own. You can dress them up or down. Of course, you can wear leggings in the summer too.

This is a quick look book and outfit of the day featuring a perfect street style dressed down look. Like I suggested above, anytime I dress down, I look for simple details and accessories to help me “jazz up” or “spice up” my look. Have fun styling yours.
