When it comes to basics, blazers are about the most important one in my humble opinion. Not only are they perfect for when you attend an interview, they are also the perfect style piece to take a look from “drag” to “fab”. In simple terms, the blazer adds polish and sophistication to any look.
Add a blazer to a dressed down look and you will look chic and well put together instantly.
Today, I present to you one blazer styled in five different ways. I hope you find the looks inspiring. Now, let’s get started ………
By the way, if you do not have a clue on how to maximise your closet, check my post on the Art of Maximising
1 :::: Casual Glam
The above is the first pairing of our featured blazer. I paired it with a clean, crisp white shirt and a denim and finished the look with cut out pumps.
This is a stunning look that can go from day to night. See full details HERE
2 :::: Creative Work Style
My second pairing features a mix of pattern and stripes.
I paired the blazer with different patterns and finished the look with black cut out pumps and over sized tote.
The look will be perfect for a creative or artsy work environment. It is an example of how to make your work wardrobe fun and creative
You can see the full details of the look HERE. I shared TIPS on how to mix print on print.
3 ::: Blush & Bold
My third pairing was the look I wore to a casual dinner with my husband.
This look is a mix of a blush pink and bright pink. I paired the pink blazer with a mini dress and finished the look with Zebra print wedges and red cross body clutch which are also complimentary.
See full details of the look and my STYLING TIPS HERE
4 ::: Crop Style Maxi & Bright Blazer
My fourth pairing is one of my recent pairings which you can see in full HERE
In this pairing, I paired our feature blazer with my old maternity dress and finished the look with a statement necklace and minimal heels
This look will be perfect for any glam event from award night to red carpet if I do say so myself.
5 ::: Mixing Print & Colour
My final pairing of our feature blazer happens to be one of the most viewed here on Moj In Touch. There is just something about the look.
I paired my pink blazer with a dark wash denim and a deep blue denim shirt and finished the look with red cut out pumps and a Zebra print bag which I converted into a clutch.
This look will be perfect for casual Friday, quick dinner or brunch.
You can see more of the look + my STYLING TIP on mixing print and colour HERE
I hope you enjoyed all the pairing and also hope you are inspired by them. Your own blazer doesn’t have to be a coloured one like mine. Go for any colour you fancy. If you are buying your first blazer, I highly recommend a black one.
Would love to know what you think about the pairings in the comments below please.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always very happy to see you stop by. I appreciate your time, your comments and your friendship.
