The last time I did a wedding guest look book was the one I shared HERE. When I got this fabric, the first thing that came to mind for me was to create another look for a wedding guest. The fabric was originally for my girlfriend’s wedding. Even though I couldn’t attend, my portion of the fabric was kept for me – this is kind of tradition whereby all the bride’s friends wear some sort of “uniform” called aso-ebi traditionally. When I received my fabric, I gave my tailor specifications of what I wanted and here we are.

Outfit of the Day!
I was wearing this made to measure dress. It was a 5-yard fabric made into this off the shoulder full skirt midi dress with exaggerated sleeves. As you would see on the sleeve, there was a generous amount of velvet velour bow details used as pipping on the sleeves and a mix of taffeta on the hem of the sleeves too. These kinds of sleeves are very popular at the moment and you would be seeing me wearing stuff like this on the blog in the next couple of blogs.
For styling, I decided to style the dress in 2 different ways:
Look one
This look features the emerald dress with a pair of drop emerald earrings and to add a pop of colour to the look, I wore a pair of open toe Mustard heels which completes the look so perfectly.
For this look, I was wearing:
Made to Measure Lace Midi Dress made by DNK Designs (Lagos Nigeria)
Fabrizio Viti – He is the Creative Designer for Louis Vuitton
Micheal Kors Watch
H&M Bracelets & Belt
Look Two
The second styling features the emerald dress with a pair of with my trusted nude (beige) heels and a be-jewelled belt and an oversized earrings finishes the look.
For Look Two, I was wearing:
Made to Measure Lace Midi Dress made by DNK Designs (Lagos, Nigeria)
Christian Louboutin Cornieel 100mm Heels
Micheal Kors Watch
H&M Bracelets & Belt
I decided to style the dress in 2 different ways for your styling inspiration. If you happen to make your own dress like this, you can go with of the styling. You are very welcome!

This look I would wear to a wedding with the Nigerian Gele or Fascinator or just this way. I would also wear it to Church, maybe on a special Sunday or something. Now, your turn, please tell me which of the looks is your favourite and why + where would you wear this kinds of dress to?
I want to thank you so much for stopping by and for reading. I do hope you enjoyed the styling as much as I enjoyed sharing with you.
